Blairsville, Georgia
2 weeks ago Ben and I went on a weekend get a way to my childhood vacation spot: my grandparents cabin in northern georgia. Ben and I have been on many trips together. We have been to Virginia when I went to school, Jamaica for our honeymoon, St. Augustine and Orlando for weekend trips, but I have to say for me (and I cannot speak for Ben) this was our favorite! We spent about 48 hours at that cabin and in that time we got a lot accomplished! We went to our annual breakfast location called the Griddle, we went fishing for bluegill, carps and catfish, we swam in the beautiful lake with Soviet, we went shooting bb guns and I even made a pie! It felt like our family vacations all over again. The last time we were there was about 5 years ago. I was about 17 and now I am back with my husband and my dog. It was such a special time for us.
